MSM PowerWinch-Rewind is he newest development from the MSM Powerwinch manufacture.

PowerWinch-Rewind is the first electric winch running forward and backward. This enables relaxed fine-trimming of sails under wind load. MSM PowerWinch-Rewind was particularly developed as genoa winch. Fine trim at the push of a button – preferably with remote control.

Releasing the sheets under load from the self-tailor in order to veer the sail turns out quite often to be a safety risk. Corresponding to wind power there can be very heavy loads on the sheets.
Reduce the risk of uncontrolled sheet release and the danger of injuries and stumbling.

Of course MSM PowerWinch-Rewind can be operated like every normal MSM PowerWinch as multipurpose winch. To be handled manually in forward direction at any time, with non-rotating winch handle during electric use.
The MSM PowerWinch-Rewind has the space-saving internal electric drive. Made from see water resistant aluminium and therefore corrosion resistant, and well designed by F.A. Porsche.
The MSM PowerWinch-Rewind will be available successively in all sizes during 2010.
